‘Responsive’ mechanisms are ubiquitous (self-opening doors, mobile phones etc). With interactive/technologically responsive artworks, there is a bi-directionality interaction between the viewer and the exhibition. The viewer is active, sensing & influencing the artwork which also ‘senses back’, responding to the viewer's activity.
