Physics Professor's Research Sheds Light on the Mass of Sound

We have long thought that sound travels through the air without shape or substance. Researchers have found that sound waves "tend to float," meaning that, unlike light waves, they must have mass that can be acted upon by gravity.

Relational Space encourages communication and collaboration among artists, scientists, policy-makers and community activists with focus on marginalized populations and topics of equity and social justice. Our vision sees a more just and sustainable world, inspired by art and transformed through truth.
