The analytical, intensely detailed world of science and the creative, freeing world of art are commonly perceived to exist in disparate realms. Though these broad areas of study appear to be polar opposites, their intersection yields innovation and advancement in both the art and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields.
